STARTSUBSIDIE FILMFONDS voor IK PAK JE OP IK NEEM JE MEE,
een korte geanimeerde documentaire ism filmmaker Annelies Kruk.
"Uw aanvraag voor Ik pak je op ik neem je mee viel daarbij zodanig op dat we hebben besloten uw filmidee te ondersteunen".
In navolging van het 4e COVID-19 steunpakket richt deze research & development regeling in de vorm van startsubsidies zich direct op scenaristen, regisseurs en individuele producenten aan wie eigenzinnige, ambitieuze en oorspronkelijke verhalen ontspruiten.
Beschrijving: Patricia raakt op haar 18e onbedoeld zwanger. Haar zoontje Caiden wordt na 1,5 jaar uit
huis geplaatst; Patricia moet eerst aan zichzelf werken om een goede moeder te kunnen worden.
Maar wat is een goede moeder? En wat als liefde voor je kind alleen, niet toereikend is?
De film gaat niet over de vraag of Cayden wel of niet terugkomt, noch wordt de film een zoektocht naar de redenen waarom haar kind is afgenomen. Het gaat over het gevoel van machteloosheid als je niet voldoet aan de norm van ‘goed ouderschap’ en over de allesoverheersende liefde van een moeder voor haar verloren kind.

The doxs! festival is celebrating a special anniversary: for the 20th time we are showing documentaries for children
and young people. from the 8th to 21st of November 2021.
In honor of the occasion we asked staff members who have accompanied the festival throughout its history to select around 15 productions from a pool of about 500 films that we have presented over the past 20 years that have been particularly memorable to them.

Noami's geheim is aangekocht voor het 'European film education platform', European Film Factory, available for secondary school teachers and students in all countries of Creative Europe.
Each film is accompanied by an innovative educational kit and the platform also has interactive tools.
The films may be screened in partner cinemas or in schools under non-commercial public screening conditions. The platform and all its content, including film subtitles, are available in German, French, English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Romanian and Greek.

Korte documentaire over Naomi van 17 jaar wiens moeder in een psychiatrische instelling woont. Naomi was 4 jaar toen ze bij haar tante ging wonen. Lange tijd was het een geheim dat haar moeder niet voor haar kon zorgen. Op een dag gaat haar beste vriend Sam
mee naar haar moeder. Hoe zal dat gaan?
Geproduceerd door Selfmade Films in samenwerking met KRO-NCRV met subsidie
van het Mediafonds en het Cobofonds.

LEF regeling Documentaire
Het mediafonds heeft mijn LEF aanvraag Verstilling gehonoreerd, een eenmalige subsidieregeling voor documentaire regisseurs.
Hierin zal ik reeds gemaakte beelden uit mijn eigen films tegen het licht houden en onderzoeken waarom juist de lange observerende beelden vaak sneuvelen in de montage,
de beelden die mij zo lief zijn. Vanuit dit onderzoek naar mijn eigen filmmateriaal,
zal ik experimenteren met het filmen van mensen in een bestaan dat stil lijkt te staan, tijdloos. Mijn zoektocht binnen dit experiment is hoe ik een verhaal kan vertellen met een of enkele beelden zonder dat er een montage omheen wordt gebouwd.
Een zoektocht naar de kracht van een enkel beeld.
In samenwerking met fotograaf/ beeldend kunstenaar Paulien Oltheten.
